Sniffy monitors internet traffic on an interface.
When an in/out-coming packet matches a pcap filter
the ARexx macro associated with that filter is run,
or simply the event is logged in Miami sys log or
in Sniffy log or in a "Dump" file that miamitcpdump
can play back.

Sniffy is very usefull to controll the in/out coming
traffic and is very simple to configure.

Sniffy filters are pcap filter, like
"udp and dst port 31337" to filter Back Orifice packets
"tcp and dst port 12345" to filter NetBus connections.

The ARexx macros are called with the size, the protocoll
the address involved and the data of the packet so
they can make any action they wants.

Sniffy cames with a wizard.library gui.
Sniffy is a commodity and can be
iconified as an appicon.
When iconified, Sniffy "kills" all gui
resourches, including wizard.library.

Sniffy can be run in multiple istance each "sniffing"
on a single interface.

Sniffy is a Shareware software, but no limitation is
present in the this version.
If you use Sniffy for more than 30 days, you must pay
the registration fee.
